Plagiarism

In the Netherlands plagiarism is the new scientific standard. Even the Number One economic sage (a kind of super fast publishing machine) copies his own writings and publishes them for new: self plagiarism they call it and it is awfully dumb! I have never heard a dumber thing. I'm really sorry with the guy. It must be a real release that he is now free to become a normal person again.
But not only the one committing this scientific crime shows to be a real dumbo, his readers are not better. They accept that a human being once called intelligent, can write top publications by a one-in-three-days frequency. My internet connection is even slower ...

I can understand that a true scientist rereads his own work - how good I am - but that he copies his own work hoping that no ane gets it. Sorry professor, but that is too dumb! Be creative or kind of die scientifically, that should the new rule, I think.
Copiers deserve kind of scientific capital punishment. But please, judge, get rid of the stinking bodies of knowledge in a proper way.

Science is there to cheat us! Dutch plagiarisms workers know that for years and the practice it. Be aware!

Have a nice day

Hello!
How different businesses can be in the way they treat customers!
This week I met two opposite examples of customer friendliness. The one, a business that develops backup software for Mac's. I tested it for two weeks, then I thought that it would work and do what it should do (backing up my photos) so I decided to buy it for 30 dollars. So far so good, but after a couple of days the software stopped more or less doing what it should do in a way that I could no longer trust it a a safe way to backup my over 50.000 photo's. So I contacted the shop and got after several e-mails a straight and firm NO! one bought is bought forever! No flexibility, no understanding. just sticking to their cash back rules and regulations. So this is it: one software from that guys and never agin. they lost a customer and I tell it from the mountains. So they might even lose not only me  but also my friends and relatives.
Now the other one: I needed new spectacles with rather expensive glass, made by Hoya. Everything was delivered as it should be. After coming home i visited their website to register my spectacles and found a very small and ugly typo (Chistal clear in stead of Christal clear). No big thing, but I send them a short e-mail with the suggestion to correct it. I immediately received a thank you reply and two days later even a thank you package with a wonderful book on Visual Illusions.

Two examples of customer relations! As different as can be!

Have a nice day!

About a week ago I spoke about the NSA and tray I read that both Apple and Microsoft are going to build datacenters in the Netherlands. Under Dutch law the doings of the NSA are highly illegal! But even a state can not do anything against the US spy giant. Not even Obama seems to be able to control his own spies. Sop now that the two giants Microsoft and Apple come to Europe NSA will follow soon I guess. How many staff of the US embassy is NSA staff? The new US Embassy building will certainly get giant eras to and eys to peep into everything that has nothing to do with US safety, biut all with economic power.
The S of NSA is a giant joke! Whatever they do it has little to do with safety. You do not spy upon charities (Unicef) or friends (Merkel). NSA does. But what has that to do with US safety? Hasn't the whole safety thing in the US slipped into paranoia?
Hopefully US psychiatrists can help, for a paranoia superpower like the US is the real danger.
Have a nice day!

What to say about the NSA and their connections with the dutch AIVD and MIVD.
They are doing good work, but outside the legal boundties they are not aloowed to trespass. Easy thing. No one is really suveilling the work of secret srvices. No one can, they are most secret. So any kind of inspection is oposing their very nature. And as long as spying is normal and publishing about spying a crime our world will never be a safe place. As it will never be without spying ...
Some people in some counties need to be looked after. But the mainproblem is the businesspeople who trade weapons to everybody without thinking about the effcets of yheir spreading dead around. It is like the bankers. It is their way of thinking and living wothout a well develoed consciousness without any moral standard apart from 'my money' which is not theirs but their clients.
See you next time.
